Crossing Borders

Are you a researcher with a medical or an engineering background, with a curiousity for what goes on in other reserach areas? Thinking, 'There might be applications out there that I haven't thought of'. If so, this is the seminar series for you!

The aim is to encourage interdisciplinary interactions, therefore, presentations will be held in an "easy-to-follow" language with plenty of time for questions.

Time 10:15 in Tellus hall (Dept of Neuroscience, Scheeles väg 1, A1-5)

121203 'Sounds of Silence', Professor Barbara Canlon

121001 'Striatal microcircuits underlying sensorimotor processing', Associate Professor Gilad Silberberg

120402 'Design of Functional materials - Degradable / Bioactive /  Renewable', Associate Professor Ulrica Edlund

120305 'Beyond inflammation – pain in rheumatoid arthritis' Assistant Professor Camilla Svensson

120206 'Making artificial corneas for transplantation', Professor May Griffith
